To those who know me, it’s no surprise that I love masks (and for everyone else, surprise, now you know me a little better!) so when I started planning this Roaring 20’s, Gatsby styled session with Kailyn & Michael (of Summit & Co), there was no question that masks would be involved.
I’d love to talk more about the planning here, but again, if you know me, when it comes to creative endeavors, I can be a rather haphazard planner sometimes–okay, a lot of the time. Some creatives are amazing at putting together Pinterest boards of style and inspiration. Then there’s me, who dreams a vague and hazy glimpse into the story I want to unfold and I run with it, so if you’re along for the ride, be prepared for a little chaos and whimsy along the way.
Confession: I sat on sharing this session for awhile because I really wanted to write a story to go with it, but time flies and here we are. Ultimately, I decided that I really just wanted to share these with the world and let you imagine a story of your very own.
Thank you to Amelia (Future Arrangements) for the amazing location in downtown Concord, NC, and for being a top notch assistant throughout the session.
